It’s called JENtober -- my month-long creative challenge where portraits meet unexpected places and storybook twists. The full 31-day JENtober 2025 prompt list is ready for you, and each prompt is designed to spark your imagination. Think:

You get to bring it to life your way -- pencil, paint, collage, fabric, whatever lights you up! This isn’t about perfection. It’s about play, showing up, and making something every day that’s 100% you.

Worried that a daily challenge might feel like too much? Don’t stress -- there are different ways to enjoy JENtober, so you can make it fit your pace.

We won’t officially start sharing until October, but you can use September to percolate ideas, gather your favorite supplies, and get ready to dive in!

Six years. 🤯
That’s how long I’ve been doing JENtober.

When I started digging through old prompt lists and past artwork, I realized my very first JENtober was in 2018… and my jaw hit the floor. In that time, life has been a ride -- a pandemic, out-of-state moves, job losses, a wedding, and so much more -- and yet, without fail, JENtober has been this bright, creative anchor every single year.

What blows me away the most? YOU.
Every October, the way this community shows up is nothing short of magical. I swear, my favorite part is watching the daily prompts come to life -- there’s always something shared that I never would’ve imagined myself, and BOOM… instant inspiration.

And the energy? Ohhh, the energy. October turns into this giant creative lovefest where we can’t wait to see the next day’s work just so we can cheer each other on, celebrate, and be in awe of the amazingness we’re all putting into the world.

Six years in, and it’s still one of my favorite things ever.
